Introduction
BonVent Europe B.V. processes personal data of its customers, potential customers, and other contacts. We do this to execute any possible agreement. In this privacy statement, we explain why and how we process your personal data.

What personal data does BonVent Europe B.V. process?
Below is an overview of the personal data we may process, depending on the products or services you use or purchase:

- Address
- City
- Phone number
- E-mailadress

Other personal data you actively provide, for example through registration on our website, in correspondence, and by phone.
- Legal Obligations
A small part of our processing is legally required. This mainly involves personal data necessary to meet our tax obligations.
- Newsletters and Mailings
Occasionally, we send newsletters and/or mailings. Sometimes these are personalized based on certain actions you have taken or products and/or services you have purchased from us. You always have the option to adjust your preferences for receiving newsletters and mailings.
Automated Decision-Making
BonVent Europe B.V. does not make decisions based on automated processing (algorithms) that could have adverse consequences for you.

- Rectification: heeft u het idee dat we verkeerde gegevens van u hebben? Laat het ons dan weten, dan passen we het aan.

- Objection: voor de verwerking van uw persoonsgegevens kunt u bezwaar indienen. Gaat het om marketing? Dan zullen we die verwerking zo snel mogelijk beëindigen.
- Portability: dit is een nieuw recht onder de AVG om uw persoonsgegevens over te (laten) dragen. Mocht u hier gebruik van willen maken, neem dan even contact met ons op.
Additionally, you can also:
- Withdraw Consent: bijvoorbeeld voor het ontvangen van e-mailings. Als u toestemming voor een andere verwerking wil intrekken, kunt u contact met ons opnemen. Dit kan via hovestadt@bonvent.nl.
- Klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP): denkt u dat wij niet handelen in overeenstemming met de privacywetgeving? Dan horen we dat natuurlijk graag. U kunt hierover ook een klacht indienen bij de AP.
How long do we keep your personal data?
Personal data should not be retained longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which we have received or collected the data and any legal obligations to retain data.
If you have requested a quote from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. If we have received a quote from you but did not become a customer, your personal data will also be deleted no later than two years after our last contact. If you did become a customer with us or we with you, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you has been fully executed. The seven-year period aligns with the time we are required to keep our records for the tax authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.
Processing Grounds:
As explained above, we process some data to fulfill a legal obligation, some to fulfill an agreement, and most to pursue the legitimate interest of BonVent Europe B.V.: carrying out our objectives. Transfer to Third Parties
In connection with the performance of any agreement with you, it may be necessary for us to provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or perform work on our behalf. We also use external server space to store (parts of) our sales and purchase records, where your personal data forms a part. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider.
How BonVent Europe B.V. secures your personal data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. The following measures have been taken to secure your personal data:
- Servers and devices of our employees are equipped with up-to-date security software, such as antivirus software and a firewall.
- We only send your data via secure internet connections (SSL). You can recognize this by the ‘https’ in the address bar and the padlock icon.
- Access to personal data from mobile devices is restricted and actively monitored.
